Decorative Painting In-House Consultation
I begin by meeting with you in your home or business to walk thru the area you wish to decorate. We will discuss color, existing, as well as, intended furnishings, the use of space, and longevity and durability of the finish you are considering. We will review color schemes from over a thousand physical colors, and decorative paint samples, OR we can preview a variety of computer generated color schemes against generic backgrounds. Or, if you opted to take advantage of the highly effective PCT (Personalized Color Technology) services that Manido provides, we will have your proofs ready for viewing, and you will be able to view as many color schemes as you want against the actual backdrop of your project. Once your color choices have been selected, I will furnish you with two complimentary hardcopy printouts for final selection (No more looking at small samples under the lighting at your local store and never picking the right shade, I bring it all to you so you can take the guess work out of color selection. Its fun and easy, and the smart way to select paint! Sample boards can also be provided before work commences so you can be extra certain of color schemes and finishes previously determined.
Specific to Basic Mural & Trompe l'Oeil
During your In-house Mural/Trompe consultation, we will discuss ideas about the subject, content, style, desired effect, and location, for your wall design. Photos and measurements will be taken. We will begin by taking a look at the project wall/room, and discuss ideas you have for your project. Often, clients provide magazine photos and various clippings to demonstrate their ideas. After determining a theme, and having a clear vision of your specific ideas, Manido' will return to the studio and create a concept drawing board of the idea, as well as a quote for the project; both of which will be mailed to you for approval. Upon receipt, you review and markup the board (if necessary), and we will discuss any changes needed. At this point, either you sign the quote signifying your acceptance of the design, OR you may request a second markup board. Changes can be made after we receive your signed approval, however, they may require additional charges.

Decorative Painting Performance
Once you have made a final decision in terms of what type of finish you want, we will set a date for the project. When will arrive, together we will review the project plan again, and sign-off on any changes. After all affairs are in order, we will first protect the floor, erect any needed equipment, and layout our materials in the emptied project room. You may choose to remain on site, or you are free to head out, and go about your day - it's up to you. For multi-day projects, all Manido materials will remain on-site until the project is complete. At completion, we will walkthrough with you to ensure everything is to your satisfaction. We'll cleanup our paint supplies, and either leave you with your new finish, or stay if you have asked Manido to provide decorating services as well. We will give you a few days to experience your new finish, then follow-up to see if there is anything further, we can do for you. Manido looks forward to working with you.
