It is a widely held belief that India is the land to have given birth to the game of Chess.
In recognition of this belief of origin, Lisa designed the 
board. Each board design is comprised of a variety of material counterpart to its theme.
The richly textured board boasts genuine imported velvet, an
interior of golden embossed silk, a profusion of gilded trim, and an embroidered dagger underlay glass board.
Whereas, the interior of 
is comprised of muslin atop a faux mortar
interior, resulting in an intended 'dungeon' feel. Themes currently in development include the 
(highly feminine and ornamental), and 
boasting imported man-made black bear fur, genuine birch bark and
tree sap from the land of the Kitigan-zibi Anishinabeg near Maniwaki Quebec - a great board for nature
lovers, hunters, and gatherers alike! Lisa welcomes the challenge to create any one-of-a-kind theme you
come up with, or color schemes coinciding with your decor. This is a great gift idea for chess enthusiasts
of all ages and backgrounds! All boards are made to order, please allow (generally) one month for production.
